For example, The first verse I purposely didn't rhyme anything to increase the sense the jumbled disorganization. The first chorus repeats the word ECHO for an entire bar to hammer the feeling of replaying a thought in your mind. Verse 2 starts to rhyme and liven up in its composition to show the subject's mind is starting to shift to a more hopeful tone. Chorus 2 repeats the word ECHO only half the amount of times to show again the subjects mind is starting to let go. The Bridge rhymes the most, with a different drum pattern and chord progression to show a shift of mentality: the subject's mind is much more organized and calm, saying "I'm not alright but I'm trying... all I know is I'm not hopeless". The final chorus doesn't repeat words, and in fact, doesn't have any words at all. I thought since the subject's mind at this point is liberated from the anxiety they felt, they are free to feel the beat and rhythm instead of being burdened by thoughts replaying in their mind. ----------------------------------------------------- DAYDREAM NIGHTMARE LYRICS: VERSE 1: I’m feeling out of my mind And nothings helping some might call that a sign But I’m not fooled been dreaming while I’m awake A day dream nightmare Can’t seem to tell what’s real anymore Like I’m a stranger in my own mind CHORUS: The same things just repeat in my head and I wanna let go, just can’t make it be so Superstitions all it seems I have left, It won’t leave me alone, I’m caught in an echo VERSE 2: Late Night, My friend hands me a drink and tells me to loosen up. But I’m too concerned what they’d think If I showed 'em who I really am The music stops, And I find myself wishing I was back at the beginning of the tune But maybe this time if I’m less afraid I could join in too CHORUS: The same things just repeat in my head and I wanna let go, just can’t make it be so Superstitions all it seems I have left, It won’t leave me alone, I’m caught in an echo BRIDGE: (So Alone) Lost within myself but I see the end Seems so rare to find but I’m searching for somebody who understands. Worn out, tired of feeling like I'm lying I'm not alright but I’m trying All I know is I’m not hopeless. VERSE 1 REPRISE: I’m feeling out of my mind and nothings helping some might call that a sign but I’m not fooled ENDING: Breathe in You're Not Alone It's okay to feel lost ----------------------------------------------------- HUGE THANKS TO ALL OF MY BUCCANEER OR ABOVE PATRONS!: First Mates: Katarina, ~lark, Maddie Benard, Corsairs: Sara Wyatt, Pink Lookin Sus, Hope Campbell, Amy Lynn, Savannah Trouten, Terra, Jamie Ripley, Okrus Prince, leslie ratliff, Ryan Keiss, RayaMonster, Emilee Rain, Victoria, Mikayla Jones, Alucard VanHelsing, Quartermaster: SociallyAwkwardShya , Kittie Love, Aylish Walker, Dana , Roossiiieeee , Joyce Brother, Dove Kerry, Jenn Ebert, Gabrielle Walters, Logan Trupiano, Buccaneer: Zoey Michaud, Heather Willis, HeavyMetalRulez, Angela Campbell, Maureen O'Daly, Alexander Baker, Avery Hopkins, Cassandra Allen, Keely Adams, Elijah Adam, Hanna, WiseDante1, Kelista Jacobs, tobeigh haugh, watisup777, Jaina Schreffler, Ivy villalobos, Stacey Greenbury, Brynn Champagne, Trisha Nicole Manion, Hannah Ree
